Today is my lion Omari's birthday. I created Omari during the summer of 2013 and I knew almost immediately I wanted him to be good in the kitchen. I then thought okay, if he is good in the kitchen, that would mean he had to have been surrounded by some amazing food growing up, which brought me to the archetype of females stereotypically being the cook in the family, and then I thought "what if he were the only male in his family with a ton of sisters?" And then -BAM- I had a duh moment: male lions are typically the lone male in a pride surrounded by females. Perfect.
I decided to break the mold and have a male be good in the kitchen who is lovable, masculine and comfortable around female energy.
Hah - yes, I do put in a lot of time thinking about this stuff. Anyways, yes, Happy Birthday Omari and Happy Lunar New Year to you all.
